Amicable
    by Thea Hillman    author info

Anne Heche has been hospitalized!

I was walking along to meet Krista for dessert

in the Castro and her dad had died and the baby, maybe Tallulah

was due in November and you had broken up with me

and it was warm the way San Francisco nights surprise

when the wind dies down and the air is soft with salt and

night blooming jasmine and suddenly I see a headline

HECHE HOSPITALIZED AFTER BIZARRE INCIDENT

She ran out of gas on Highway 33 wandered in the

heat about a mile along a dirt road to a house on Nebraska Avenue

Aracelli Campiz told reporters, "I was so surprised to see my favorite actress

she even put on a pair of my slippers"

I had just gotten off the phone with you, telling you

finally, not to contact me and

the deputy wrote in his report: "She proceeded to tell me that she

was God and that she was going to take everyone back to heaven

with her in some sort of spaceship"

there is no snow in Hollywood

there is no breeze in Fresno

They met and got together so fast without knowing

each other

I have been to lots of bars

and acted perfectly disgraceful

but I have never actually been hospitalized

Oh Kate I love you come back
